    Technical support and in-house catering for up to 600 people is available from the same team of professionals who are responsible for providing the high quality services enjoyed by all of our major corporate clients, VIP guests and royalty.


  • Perfect for any large scale events from conferences to dinner dances, the Main Auditorium not only offers you the wow-factor but can be dressed to fit your event needs. Based on the Ground Floor, with its own stage, draping and curtains, the Main Auditorium can be shrunk to fit an intimate dinner or opened up for a large exhibition.

    Seating up to 2,009 theatre style, there are also several smaller areas are available for exhibitions, lunches, presentations and seminars as seen below:


    Over recent years Portsmouth Guildhall has been the venue of choice for a variety of large exhibitions, including events for Memo Events, PMN Wedding Fayres and Shaping Portsmouth.


  • The whole of the building can be hired which includes The Harlequin, North Foyer and Main Auditorium Stalls and Upper Stalls (all situated on the Ground Floor), Main Auditorium Circle, Portsmouth Room, Zodiac Gallery and Freda Swain Lounge (all situated on the First Floor). The venue lends itself well to break out spaces with the possibility of creating synidicate rooms and break out spaces for teas, coffees and lunches. Alternatively the whole of the Ground Floor can be hired.
